Getting started with the TOWOT Solder Wick & Flux Kit
Lay the braid flat over the joint, press the iron on top and wait for the solder to climb into it — do not drag or saw the braid across the pad. Add a dab of flux first, which makes a dramatic difference to how fast the braid pulls solder. Snip off the used, solder-filled section each time; reusing a loaded section is the main reason wick seems not to work.
