Start at 320–340°C with leaded solder and fit the chisel tip rather than the fine one for general work. Use the included pump on a scrap joint before you need it in anger. The bundled solder is adequate for learning, but a spool of good 0.8 mm rosin-core wire is the first upgrade worth making.
