Set the iron around 320–340°C for leaded solder and start on the 1206 parts, which are large enough to hold with ordinary tweezers. Add flux generously, tack one corner, then finish the opposite side. Only move down to 0603 and 0402 once the larger parts sit flat and shiny every time; the fine-pitch ICs are best attempted with a drag-soldering technique and plenty of flux.
